I made this alone in my basement, using polyrhythmic percussive loops and a variety of instruments. This “elsewhere version” of Just Know It is the first of a handful of Being Somewhere songs that I’ve re-visited and will be releasing.
The album version of Just Know It is a “piano song”, and this is a “guitar song” - more true to the initial spirit in which it was written. I like the idea that a song can live multiple lives. I also made this lyric video using found footage.
