“I feel like there is a lot of strength in softness. And that softness is not only not weakness, it is at the very core of strength: the ability to be soft and subtle and strong at the same time.” Jeez man. Louder for the folks in the back.

Lovely exercise with the letters. Teared up a few times. That new tune is a gem. You've mastered the art of putting light and dark in the same song—that emotional knockout punch of "here's a kind of funny line and before you finish laughing about it he's a full-force gut punch to knock the wind out of you." Beautiful work. Thank you for sharing.

Ah thanks for this Jordan! So glad you dug it.. Yeah it's amazing how connected the light and the dark are hey? Laughing/crying, soft/strength.. I've played a lot of shows with spoken word poet Shane Koyczan, and I have never in my life seen somebody "rag-doll" a crowd like Shane does.. laughing to crying to laughing to crying again all in the same 4 minute piece.. by the end of it you feel like you've just been 4 rounds with a therapist.. it's beautiful... cleansing..
