Today is new music day (and more to come very very soon wink wink nudge nudge).
I met Sammy Copley via TikTok a few years back. He has a particularly effortless ability to communicate his beautiful way through the medium. As I fell upon a plethora of delightfully talented young songwriters on the app, my internet-scoff dissolved somewhat. While playing in Ireland, I invited them to join me on stage to sing The Indie Queens Are Waiting.
Here’s us with MALINDA (a Celtic singer with an absolutely gargantuan online following) meeting for brunch in Dublin.
When Sammy asked if I’d like to record a duet with them, it was an instant yes. They are releasing a handful of songs with guest contributors, and I’m honoured to be among them. Have a listen here.

That song is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful. It’s so simple but so heavy at the same time.. Hit me so much I was just sitting on my couch in the dark for 20 minutes and just stared into nothingness and tried to hold tears back.
