LISTEN: New song demo - "For Him"

I played this new song at the solo Vancouver show back in Feb. I didn’t realize until the audience began to laugh that, though it may be a sad song, it’s also a funny song.

It’s like a contorted alternate perspective on Dolly Parton’s Jolene. It’s essentially saying to a lover - “I understand if you need to leave me, but please don’t leave me for him.”

I think most people can imagine what it would feel like to lose a lover to a vampire.
