I need help

Last May, I tucked away in the woods of southern Ontario with my best buds for a week. We didn’t intend to make a record - just to be musical and have fun.

Unexpectedly, lightning struck over and over, and we trust-fell into an impossibly special experience. To be part of that creative whirlwind was like nothing else I’ve ever experienced. It was a gift.

There’s more news coming soon regarding an official album announcement. Singles, tour dates, album launch’y promo stuff.

Social media is a total crap shoot, and whenever I play into whatever tactics are working for other artists, it feels contrived.

But I do hear from people - I know there are folks for whom my music has meant something. I wonder if some of you might be interested in helping me with this album campaign… join the “inner circle”, so to speak.

Promoting music online can be futile, fleeting and unromantic - but humans are real. This album was born of a joyful, tactile spirit by humans in a room. I’d be thrilled to carry that sentiment into its launch.

This is somewhat uncharted territory. I understand people have busy lives and I don’t know if there’s interest to help the effort… but no piece of my work has ever meant this much to me, and I want to try everything in my power to get it heard.
