Florida shows

I’ve never been. I don’t know if more than 5 people in Florida have ever heard my name, but there’s an indie promoter down there who is a big believer in my music. In my life, I’ve sought to employ a philosophy of following the enthusiasm, and he’s invited me to play in some beautiful, cozy spaces.
If you know ANYBODY in Florida, now would be a great time to let them know. I’d sincerely appreciate it!
I’ve always wanted to meet Florida Man. I hope we don’t cross paths.

I got the Songkick notice for an upcoming show near me, and when I saw "Dan Mangan," I thought I was having a stroke (but in a good way).
I remember hearing (or reading) an interview with you like 13-14 years ago, after the release of Nice, Nice, Very Nice... You mentioned something about touring in other countries and how challenging / expensive it can be, including the U.S.
All that to say, I never thought I'd get the chance to see you, and I am so excited I was wrong.
I hope you commit to being your own type of Florida Man while you're down here, and we can tell stories about you for years to come.
I grew up in Jacksonville, went to college in Gainesville, and have a bunch of friends in St. Augustine. I'll spread the word! My dad lives 2 blocks from Blue Jay Listening Room. He became a fan of yours during COVID through the zoom concerts. He'll be the old guy in your audience. I might even fly down from Boston to see you in my hometown!
